No, I actually forgot about that song until you just mentioned it. It is indeed a great song by one of my favorite bands. But I can somewhat see why one might think the influence could be that song. I would have to agree with the person below that it sounds more like the intro to Diary of Jane. But as long as you liked it, I'm happy.

This is good...and not bad singer..except Your screamo.Its good but Needs to be more..Powerful..Like your saying f**k you to the mic haha.
Also the beginning bit sounded like Bullet For My Valentine.

But i noticed 3:08 you should extend that into some Mini Drum solo fill.
and that would just make this that abit more kick ass..
